Ethiopian Tourist Guides Professional Association (ETGPA) is a non-profit and independent tourism-based association, established under the Ethiopian law in 2020. ETGPA has a vision of becoming the premiere tourism association in Africa by the next few years. ETGPA is dedicated in promoting and developing the capacity and knowledge of its members and has established a training division with the aim of providing a short-term training on a selected tourism and other related field of studies. 

ETGPA has delivered particularly designed short-term courses for its members, arranged by bringing trainers from various tourism stakeholders and some courses from its member’s very well experienced tourist guides.

These courses are focused on enhancing professional tourist guide skills and guiding techniques, Geo-tourism, Anthropological studies and Archeological findings, AI and Astro-tourism and more, which are facilitated by our association training division in collaboration with our agreed stakeholders, ETGPA can provide short courses for is members and for those who can be the next tourist guides at different levels on request.
